Passionate about design

 

We derive our inspirations from world travel, an appreciation of fine art, and most importantly, the collaborative involvement with our clients. Specifically, we incorporate the client's historic and personal references from their own lives. We approach the interiors holistically, relating to the architecture, the setting, and the way people live their individual and unique lifestyles.

The design process begins with a preliminary review of the project and consultation with the client to determine the scope of services to be performed. Space planning and furniture layouts are offered with various options. An initial schematic presentation will then be provided which includes colors, finishes, furnishings, fabrics, and custom millwork which will convey the overall proposed mood.

Once the design direction is established, a preliminary budget is prepared. If required, consultations with an architect, contractor, landscape architect, electrician, and audio/video designer will be implemented.

Based on the approved budget and design, Buda Design shall select, shop, present, and purchase furnishing, lighting, art, accessories and all other items of the interior design for the project.

 

About Jennifer Buda Steuer

 

With an expert knowledge of diverse styles and forms, I am focused on creating a unique ambiance for each project. In in my twenty years of experience, I have worked on a variety of projects such as hospitality, including landmark properties, high-end residential, and commercial.

I am focused on keeping designs fresh, personal, and customized by being detail oriented, focusing on a key concept that provides inspiration, as well as practical, highly functional, and sophisticated. I am pragmatic regarding codes, costs, and scheduling issues.

I have led the many facets of design: conceptual design and development through construction, custom furniture and finishes, specification and coordination of furnishings, communication through presentation drawings, client engagement and presentations, and job site coordination.

I am always on the look out for opportunities that will utilize my skills and passion for high quality, original design.
